Mental Health Matters
Supporting Your Wellbeing
At Orlando Village, we’re more than just student accommodation – we’re your home away from home. Whether you’re starting your journey at the University of Greater Manchester or continuing your studies, your mental health and wellbeing are a priority. We’re here to make sure you feel safe, supported, and part of a welcoming community.
Recognised for Putting Wellbeing First
Our commitment to student wellbeing has been recognised through awards and nominations for inclusion and mental health support.
Our work doesn’t stop there, we’re constantly building on this foundation to provide meaningful, accessible support for all our residents.
Tailored Support: When You Need It Most
University life can be full of exciting opportunities, but it also comes with challenges. That’s why we work closely with local services, including the University Life Lounge, to ensure you have the right support when you need it most.
We also provide wellbeing support packs with practical resources and advice, designed to help you manage common issues like homesickness, anxiety, and stress.
Mental Health First Aid Trained Staff
Every member of the Orlando Village team has completed Mental Health First Aid training. This means there’s always someone on-site who understands the complexities of mental health and can provide compassionate support or help guide you to the right services.
Whether you need a friendly chat or help navigating a difficult situation, our team is here to listen and support you.
