Wellbeing Support Tailored for You

We understand that moving away from home, often for the first time, can bring both excitement and challenges. That’s why we partner with local services, such as the University Life Lounge, to ensure you have access to the right support when needed. Our specially designed support packs are available to help you navigate any challenges, offering resources for common issues you might face.

Mental Health First Aid Trained Staff on Site

All our team members at Orlando Village have undergone Mental Health First Aid training, ensuring there’s always someone here who understands mental health challenges and can offer compassionate support or guide you to additional resources. Whether it’s a quick chat and a cup of tea or a serious conversation, we’re ready to listen and help in any way we can.

Trusted Support for
Young People’s Mental Health

In addition to our in-house support, we recommend resources specifically for young people’s mental health:

  • Student Minds: The UK’s leading mental health charity for students, providing information, workshops, and peer support across the country.
  • Shout: A free, confidential, 24/7 text support service for anyone in a mental health crisis – just text “SHOUT” to 85258 to chat with a trained volunteer.
  • YoungMinds: Offering expert advice and support, YoungMinds is dedicated to young people’s mental health and wellbeing, with resources, crisis support, and a free helpline.
