Who we are

Welcome, خوش آمدید, स्वागत, 欢迎, Benvenuti, Bienvenido,

At Orlando Village in Bolton, we're proud to host students from around the world, with over 38 countries represented among our tenants in 2023 alone. We have a wealth of experience in accommodating students who may be traveling to the UK for the first time and are unfamiliar with British traditions, culture, and the local area.

The first step to finding the perfect student accommodation is choosing the right room that fits your needs and budget. At Orlando Village, we make this process easy by offering virtual viewings. We'll take you on a tour of our site, walk you through each room option, highlight the features, and discuss pricing and payment options.

Our aim is to make you feel safe, secure, and warmly welcomed as soon as you arrive in Bolton. To help you settle in smoothly after your journey, we offer helpful extras like local maps, home comforts, and ready-made rooms. Just a heads-up—some of these extras, such as bedding and kitchen essentials, do come at an additional cost. If you let us know what you need, we’ll be more than happy to arrange these services to make your move-in as comfortable as possible.

When it comes to payment, we offer two options for your convenience: you can either pay in instalments or pay the full amount upfront. If you have any questions or need assistance with your payment, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

To book a room at Orlando Village, start by choosing the right room through a virtual viewing, complete your application, and provide a UK-based guarantor if needed. Submit your ID documents for verification, sign your tenancy agreement, and inform us of your arrival time.

To secure your booking with us, simply complete an application form on our website. You can click the link below and you'll be directed to the booking form. We’ll handle the rest to ensure a smooth and welcoming experience. If you have any questions or need assistance, please feel free to contact us.

Here's a handy tip: If you opt to pay upfront, you won't need a guarantor. It's a hassle-free way to streamline the booking process. Looking forward to welcoming you to Orlando Village.

Opening a Bank Account

If you haven't set up a UK bank account yet, don't worry—it's essential, and we're here to help!

It's a good idea to look into this before arriving in the UK, but if you've left it a bit late, that's perfectly okay. Each bank has its own rules for non-UK residents opening accounts, but it's a straightforward process.

You'll typically need some ID, proof of residency, and confirmation of your course here in the UK. We can provide a letter to confirm your UK address—just let us know, and we'll take care of it.

Sometimes they might ask for more info and might even want to chat with you before finalizing everything. But no worries, it's all part of the process.

Keep in mind that every bank in the UK has something different to offer, so look and see what suits you best.

Some Student accounts will offer you incentives to open with them, and good mobile banking is always helpful when you are managing your budget and need access to your finances.

Q:Do I need a Guarantor?

If you are an International or UK student planning to book a room at Orlando Village and pay your rent in instalments, you will be asked to provide a qualified UK based Guarantor. A Guarantor is someone who is in full time employment or a homeowner, who will take financial responsibility for the tenancy and will be liable to pay the tenants rent if, for any reason, you are unable to pay an amount owed to the accommodation provider.
Housing Hand provides a Guarantor service for students who are unable to provide a satisfactory UK based Guarantor.
For further information about the Housing Hand Guarantor service, please visit housinghand.co.uk or call them directly on +44 (0) 20 7205 2625.

Q:How much will it cost?

The Rent Guarantor Service cost is determined on your rent and your circumstances. There is a £10 onboarding fee, charged when payment is made. This is non-refundable and covers the costs involved in processing your application. OHousing Hand starts at just £31 per month. Subscriptions are either 6 or 12 months in length depending on the length of your tenancy. The cost will be split into 6 monthly payments if your tenancy is 6 months or less, and 12 monthly payments if your tenancy is over 6 months and less than 12 months. You can pay monthly or alternatively, you can pay upfront to save money.
