Thanks to apps like Deliveroo, Just Eat and Uber Eats, it’s never been easier to get tasty food delivered to your student accommodation. That means, instead of slaving away in the kitchen or walking to the nearest takeaway shop, you simply have to listen out for the knock at the door.
Another great thing about ordering a takeaway whilst at uni is that some places offer student discounts. Meaning you can treat yourself to a cheeky takeaway, and have a full stomach, without emptying your bank account.
Uber Eats offer £15 off your first order when you spend over £15, which is ideal if you and your flatmates are all ordering food. And Deliveroo is offering £10 off for new customers who spend £15.

2. U Kitchen
After a long day of lectures, it doesn’t get much better than eating a Chinese takeaway whilst binge-watching your favourite TV shows, does it?
Ranging from salt and pepper chicken and chips to king prawn Chow Mein and teriyaki noodles, there’s something on the menu to suit everyone staying at Bolton student accommodation.
U Kitchen only opens later on – however, you can pre-order via the website or Just Eat. Bear in mind, you need to spend at least £10 on Just Eat and there is a £1.50 delivery fee.
3. Shake’N’Burg

They sell a variety of tasty burgers (including vegetarian options), fries and sides that are sure to curb pangs of hunger, as well as delicious milkshakes and soft drinks.
4. Lagan
If you love nothing more than tucking into spicy Indian food – be it a Chicken Madras, Lamb Tikka or Prawn Puri – then you need to try Lagan in Bolton.
Based just outside of the city centre, the restaurant is 2.5 miles away from your student accommodation (taking around 12 minutes in the car). That means, when you order with Deliveroo or Just Eat, you can expect your food to arrive still hot!
5. Olympus Fish and Chips
Fancy a chippy tea?
From traditional cod and chips to battered sausage, meat pies, jacket potatoes and various sweet desserts, Olympus Fish and Chips is the place to order from – either over the phone, online or via the Just Eat app.
When ordering on Just Eat, it’s worth noting there’s a minimum spend of £10 and delivery costs £2.49 on top.
